I have been teaching drum students of all ages (from age 5) and abilities for 20 years now. I teach from my home studio located in Mudgeeraba and the schools, Marymount College and AB Paterson College on the Gold Coast.
I have taught students the examination syllabus for the two leading curriculums, Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB), Trinity College of London and Rock School. My students have had these examination results included on their Queensland High School Certificate when these exams were completed in years 10, 11 or 12.
Most of my students are in year 1-12, (school age) while some are older more advanced students who are looking for direction and assistance in taking their playing to another level. This can be just for the pleasure of learning a song they enjoy, working and improving at something they have trouble with, or to develop skills and techniques for specific projects. Just like any other discipline, working with a qualified, experienced professional teacher or coach can make the process of learning and growing as a player and musician so much more streamlined, enjoyable and rewarding.
